Mmmmm, amazingly delicious Korean food. When we got back from our trip to Seoul, the thing we missed the most was the incredible food.... and then we discovered this place! The bulgogi is amazing, the kalbi is amazing, I'm not a fan of kimchee yet but Aaron said it was amazing, too! If you haven't been to a Korean restaurant, the main dish usually comes out with side dishes that you can always request more of, and it's all complimentary - and their side vegetable dishes were delicious! Our whole experience was lick-your-lips, lick-the-plate delicious! The shop is cute, small, unassuming, with very sweet staff. Definitely a place to try out!

Bulgogi tasted steamed not pan fried, was very moist as in watery. Could have used more flavor. Somewhat small portions for the $$. And my first time ordering take out they forgot the extra rice I ordered. Who the hell wants to drive back to the restaurant for that, after your back home. Only a few bucks lost, but who likes losing money? not me.

Very very good food! I have never had a bad meal! Been back again and again! The vegetable dumplings are always fresh and the bul go gi is awesome... The people that work there are really cool and informative, if you're not familiar with Korean food as I had never had it before. A little expensive but definitely worth the money for the quality and freshness.

By far my favorite place to have dinner! They are always making your food fresh to order and from scratch. The bim bop bowl with shrimp is my go to dish, and the shrimp fried rice is to die for too! Love the steamed an fried dumplings and of course love the Kim chi and pickled cucumbers they always give you on the side! The Lee family is amazing!

Bibimbop is out of this world!!!! Don't blink, you'll drive by but definitely worth the hunt!

A very nice restaurant. At first glance, it's a bit of a whole in the wall but the food corrects the ambiance. I had kal gook-soo. A delicious seafood broth, udon like noodles, fresh clams, shrimp, and squid. Very flavorful and filling.

Oi, hate to poo-poo on the party here but the best things I ate here were the pickled cucumbers (pickles?) The marinated beef bibimbap was ok but the korean beef soup was bland and tasteless no matter how much I added to it so I basically ended up eating a $16 bowl of white rice (which comes with it). The veggie dumplings weren't much to write about either. Just kind of depressed about this place, I really wanted to love it especially since I live nearby.

Sun and Moon is a tiny little place in East Providence that is real easy to drive by. It's not fancy inside, but what they lack in ambiance is made up for in the food. We were quickly greeted and seated. The BYOB policy is a bit confusing. Apparently on Friday, Saturday and Sunday they serve alcohol but the other days are BYOB. First off, there are no forks on the table, chopsticks only. I'm guessing they would give you a fork if you asked, but what's the fun in that? We were given complementary sides of kimchi and picked vegetables. They were delicious. We started with the steamed vegetable dumplings and really enjoyed them. We both went with the M85, bibimbap with chicken in the stone pot. We certainly didn't regret it and enjoyed every bite. We look forward to coming back and trying some of the other things on the menu.

I will happily drive the 40 minutes to Sun and Moon to have lunch because it's the best Korean food around, and the best I've had in a long time. The food here is fresh and tastes homemade. I only wish I lived closer to Providence so I could eat here more often. I've had the tofu sundubu (soft tofu soup), the seafood sundubu, and the kimchi jjigae, and all were delicious. I do think the seafood sundubu could have been spicier, but the other two soups had a rich, flavorful, spicy broth. I recommend the Korean style sushi, too... my favorite is the squid roll. As others have mentioned, the banchan (side dishes, usually kimchi and other pickled vegetables) are also very good. The service here can be a little slow sometimes (it's a mom and pop restaurant, after all), so I wouldn't recommend this place if you're in a hurry, but otherwise, it's so worth checking out.

This is the true Korean restaurant where I regard as authentic in Providence. Before knowing this place, I sometimes had to go to Boston or New York to have a delicious Korean food. However, this Korean-owned restaurant has the reasonably priced foods without diminishing the quality and taste. Also, despite that you can utilize the spacious table while eating on the table, I highly recommend people to sit on the bar where you can have a great opportunity to have a chat with the owners of the restaurant because they are very friendly, which definitely elevates the mood before eating the food. For the appetizer, I personally do not order them when I go there, but I have noticed that people often order the dumplings. For the main dishes, if you are not good at eating spicy foods, I would definitely recommend you to choose JapChae Dup-Bop, BulGogi, and Korean BBQ. These three classic ones will not disappoint you. However, if you like eating spicy foods, then you should try Combo Bibimbap in Stone Pot, Roasted Pork Belly with Cooked Spicy Squid, Stir-Fried Pork. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you want to have a great experience.

Nice little restaurant. Felt very Korean. The owners were very friendly. The food was authentic. Got a nice set of kimchi, soup was good and bulgogi too. Meat could use a bit more flavor but overall good. The restaurant has an interesting layout. Small front and back room dining. I didn't go upstairs but I think there's tables up there as well. Overall a nice little restaurant with character. I'll certainly come back again!

A very nice Korean restaurant tucked away in East Providence, RI. Don't be surprised by the outside of the building or when you first walk in. When we first came here, we walked in -- thought it was a neighborhood bar with almost no seating -- and walked out. We wandered around a bit then came back in and got seated in the ample rear seating area, which is where the "real" restaurant is. The kimchi that they bring out as the appetizer is very good. They've apparently won prizes for it, which I'm not surprised. Just the right bit of kick without being too hot or too sour. The only sadface is that they don't bring out more -- or more variety. We're used to a bigger sampling at Korean restaurants. The Korean seafood pancake (pajeon) was excellent. Lots of stuffing with fresh ingredients, cooked so that it is crunchy on the outside but chewy on the inside. The japchae noodles were also similarly flavorful. The only letdown was the bulgogi. The meat was chewy and the flavor on the low-side. Compared to the other dishes, it wasn't a standout. This is a restaurant with friendly service, lots of local customers, and reasonable prices that I wish I had in my neighborhood but not one that I'd necessarily go out of my way to drive to.

Meh. That's all I can say. A giant, resounding meh. I said to my partner on the way home, "at least if it was bad it would have been an experience, but it was so bland I don't even understand what just happened." So- It wasn't bad but it wasn't particularly good either. His Bulgogi was chewy. My Gatsu was heavily sauced and not in a good way. Our tea was lukewarm when it was brought to the table (and was 4 bucks per person!?!?!). Highlight was kimchi and pickled veggies, but 40$ for pickled veggies and room temperature tea does not a meal make.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I find it very skeptical that this place even has a 4 star review. They have horrible customer service: -No water -No spoon (These are not things that we have to ask for insistently) -No rice with entree -The server willingly ignores you -the woman forgot to give me my card back after payment. They are very stingy with ingredients as well: -With a pork bibimbap came three pea sized meat pieces. -with Korean chicken came 3 wings and 2 legs diluted in soy sauce and water. -you will not find your meat in meat dishes. Trust me, I looked for them hard! -a $20 entree cannot be shared. I left this place with a feeing of resentment, hatred, and regret. I will never return again. Save yourself money, time, and appetite and go to Den Den instead. This place is truly amazing.

Wow! A friend told me about this place so we went for lunch. What a find! I'm fairly new to Korean food but this is clearly authentic and special. It's family run and done right. The decor is simple but the service and food are outstanding. It's quite an experience.

BulGolGi. Need I say more?! Well, I will. It's by far the best plate of seasoned meat that has ever entered my mouth. I wish I knew this recipe...because I could eat it every day, all day. I haven't tried much else. My gf had the bimimbap. She swears by it. I don't like my rice crunchy (it's a texture/taste thing), so I'd always be stirring till the hot plate/bowl cooled down. The place itself is tiny, but byob on certain days. Our waitress was the daughter of the owner. She was sweet and nice, but useless because she didn't know any of her family secrets. Or knows but yeah, she so refused to tell us. I guess I should have told her I might be allergic to something in the meat and that I needed a list of the ingredients. I also had the seaweed salad. Delish. And of course all the complimentary sides they bring out. One of the them was pickled cucumber, which was also really delicious. The rest I didn't quite enjoy. No lie, I took BulGolGi to go. Ate the hell out of it and yet again, wanted more. I thought about it days after I ate it...and still I'm thinking about it now. You will not be disappointed by the meat. Save you're a vegetarian.

I love this place! I have been dining here since 2004, when my sister saw a write up in Gourmet Magazine. The restaurant is small, but the menu is vast. The staff is very friendly and happy. The menu items on my usual order: (other than the kim chi placed on each table) Steamed veg dumplings - light and tasty, a great starter. Soju to share, a clean spirit, which also helps if I add too much hot sauce to my food! BiBimBap in Dol-sot, well with any of the menu options, but the marinated beef is very delicious. The hot stone pot is an exciting addition to the presentation, and the ingredients are fresh. Another great perk - it is in walking distance to where I live & you can be dropped by the RIPTA bus right out front. Try it, and call me if you do - I will meet you there! I can't get enough of this wonderful place!

If you're passing through East Providence, this is the spot. The pork belly and grilled octopus is off the chain. Don't walk, run.

The only Korean place I will go to. This place has stood the test of time for a reason. It is authentic, homemade, "grandma" food. Everything is fresh and made with love. The seaweed rolls and vegetable pancake are a great way start to your meal. Now the pork belly with squid is perfect. That's the only way to describe this spicy perfect dish. And the best for last. The Bim bib bob; the ultimate comfort food for the harsh New England winters. Rice, egg, veggies, and meat (optional) in a hot, clay bowl. Stir it to get all the crispy bits of rice mixed with the yolk and add plenty of Korean BBQ sauce.

We were driving for about an hour from CT trying to get to the Cheesecake Factory. I'm not used to long drives (just moved out here from Hawaii) so I was getting car sick. Since I didn't think I could make it to the big CF, I told the hubs that I wanted the nearest Korean place. I've been jonesing for some, since we don't have any Korean food near where we live. Cute little place reminds me of mom and pop Asian restaurants back home! This was going to be epic! I placed our order with the owner. Everything was given an Americanized name, so I had to ask a lot of questions to ensure I got what I wanted. Mandoo - Veggie Dumpling (although I'm pretty sure it had pork in it) Kalbi - Korean BBQ Pajun - Veggie Pancake Everything came with a bowl of rice and side dish vegetables. We got pickled cucumber, bean sprouts, and kim chee. I love Korean veggies! My only gripe is that I wish they brought out the rice so I could eat them together with the veggies. Not a big fan of straight up kim chee with no rice! It was actually the owner's daughter birthday and they made her some kinda special red bean/chestnut mochi type birthday rice. They offered and asked if we wanted to get some. Hellz yeah I want birthday rice!!! So yummy! I'm honored that I got to be a part of the special birthday rice. :) When the pajun and kalbi came out... man oh man. I licked those plates clean. So good! They really know how to do their stuff! Great meal, great service. A tad bit on the pricer side (but then again, I'm used to the $20 all you can eat Korean restaurants back home). Loved it!!!

Very good. Dumpling soup was great. The service is excellent. Very kind staff. The place is clean and comfortable.

This restaurant has solid, traditional Korean food with a home-cooked, this-is-how-my-grandma-makes-it feel. You won't be impressed by the decor or atmosphere, but you'll definitely feel welcomed and at home. I think I scored a home run ordering the kalbi tang (long-simmered beef broth with rice noodles). The owner said that this is what he makes at home and that it soothes his soul. I couldn't agree more. The broth tasted clean and not murky at all, which I've noticed at some restaurants. The short rib beef was perfectly tender and could be separated into bites with a simple drawing away of my chopsticks. This soup is meant to be tweaked with at the table, so add salt, spicy sauce, whatever you like. This is one of my favorite dishes, no matter the weather. If you've tried some Korean food and want to expand your horizons, this is the place to do it.

I know this place will soon become a regular of mine! It's about a 10 min drive from the East Side of Providence but right off the freeway. The first thing you'll think is... REALLY? There's a RESTAURANT here?! Yup there is and you'll think it's closed if you didn't look close enough! It's actually near a residential neighborhood in a building that looks like it's being taken down for renovation. However, as you get past the exterior you'll enter a quaint little restaurant that's reminiscent of hole in the wall places in San Francisco (oh, SF, how I miss thee). This is truly a mom and pop Korean restaurant (quite literally since mom and pop are right there cooking for you behind the bar). They don't really specialize in any particular type of Korean food. You'll see that they have a menu ranging from rice to noodle to bbq dishes. Sometimes they even mix and match! I had the Bibimbap which is various types of seasoned vegetables on rice... but I ordered the combo which allows me to add some meat on top. Of course I chose to add bulgolgi to my dish! It's served in a lava rock bowl and it's quite literally cooking in front of you. You have to take your spoon and mash everything up and make sure everything is well mixed before you indulge! (I know it's hard to be patient with the way it entices your olfactory nerves!). Not only was the dish flavorful, it had all the right textures to make you say "wow! now that's why I love Asian food." I can say that after I left I was full and I'm a bottomless pit! I also had the dumpling soup which was easily great becasue well they make everything right in front of you assuring you that you aren't not getting something that is reheated and you aren't getting something out of a can! Seating can be an issue here so I suggest you make a reservation before coming. Parking around may seem intimidating given the surrounding neighborhood but I found it to be pretty safe.

This was pretty good. Standard Korean restaurant. The food was pretty good too. It's a small neighborhood kind of place, not too loud (we went at lunch and there were very few customers).

There are many other Korean restaurants in RI, but Sun and Moon is by far the best. I have eaten here many times and have forgot to write a review. The staff is very friendly and will help you with any questions or recommendations. A must have appetizer is the Spicy Rice Cake. The red spicy sauce is so good, you can add dumplings or noodles. Another dish that Sun and Moon make better than anyone else is the Stone pot BiBimBap. It's a combo of vegetables and your choice of meat on top of rice, in a oven hot stone pot. The hot stone makes the rice crispy and adds a nutty flavor to the dish. This week I tried a new thing, I ordered Kim chi Soon Tofu, a spicy soft tofu soup w/ Kim chi & pork cooked in stone pot. It does not look pretty but this dish is delicious, hearty but delicate, and spicy. Make sure you try this place!

  • Jacqui G.

Food is very good, but a little pricey for what you get. The place is tiny and can sometimes get cramped and awkward in the front if you're waiting to be seated, but there is a much bigger space in the back. The service helps make up for the wait, as it's family run and everyone is very nice. If you're in East Providence it's worth checking out.

The 5 star rating is based on RI standards of Korean food since this is not like Koreatown in LA. I've done a lot of research on Korean food in RI. Trying every new restaurant that popped up as the years passed. I remember in 2006 Sun and Moon was the ONLY Korean restaurant near Campus and E.Providence. Now there are a handful of restaurants. However, Sun and Moon is the only Korean restaurant that delivers to you! (As far as I know) Which is excellent when I'm sick and craving sum'n that reminds me of home. Out of the bunch of Korean places that have popped up in the past few years Sun and Moon has been the most consistent in terms of taste and price, and is on the cheaper side of pricing compared to other Korean restaurants. The portions are big and enough to take home and eat again. Prices are reasonable and In Providence, I'll stick with Sun and Moon for my Korean cravings.

YES! Finally a great restaurant with friendly staff and good portions at fair prices. Enjoyed every bite at Sun and Moon and will be back again and again!

Sun and Moon is a humble little restaurant in a somewhat less favorable section of town but its definitely worth venturing into. The staff are so sweet and friendly and the menu has tons of Korean favorites. It's a good place to meet up with friends, take your date or even the whole family. The decor isn't the fanciest. In fact, it's pretty bare bones and slightly divey but all of that just adds to the ambiance, in a good way. The bibimbap is my favorite even if it is a little pricey but the complimentary banchan help make up for it a bit. Those delicious Korean pickled cucumbers are amazing! If you come for bibimbap, I'd skip the shrimp; it's those tiny little shrimp and not worth the $2 upcharge. The bulgogi bibimpbap however, definitely made my husband very happy. It does get quite busy on the weekends so if you're coming with a larger party, a reservation is highly recommended. Two people can usually snag a seat somewhere at any time. PS It gets HOT in there. Like, ooh I kinda feel woozy it's so warm in here....so dress accordingly if you're sensitive to extreme temperatures like I am.

I really like Korean food and wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, the food was just OK and the service left something to be desired. We ordered a Korean pancake, fried dumplings, and two noodle dishes. The dumplings were good as was the pancake, but for a Korean place, the condiments which should have made the meal were pretty cheap. When I asked for more Kim Chi, the gentleman who was running the show said, "You already had two dishes." Well, there were two of us and the dishes were small. This put me off. Also, the food is not cheap. I will look around for another option for Korean in RI.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. It looks like a hole in the wall inside and out. The food is very delicious, it does not disappoint. Dumplings great. Sweet potato noodles great. Highly recommend!

  • Tracy H.

Delicious food and friendly staff. As other's have said ... it really feels like you are getting a home cooked meal. Don't be fooled by the "hole in the wall" look from outside. This place is like a hidden gem. We will definitely be back. My husband and I started with an appetizer of the steamed veg dumplings (very good), then shared bibimbap in bowl with bulgogi beef (this was outstanding, some of the best bibimbap we've had), and because we like to try at least one new thing when we go someplace new, we had the Buckwheat Cold Noodle in Home made Beef broth. This dish is the only thing I would not recommend. Really odd, comes with ice cubes made of broth, which melt down as you eat. The buckwheat noodles really had no taste. If you've had Korean or never had Korean, this is the place to go. The staff will guide you through an order. Also, just an incredible value for the food options. Highly recommend!

Not a good Korean restaurant. It is so expensive and not much to eat. I would not go this restaurant any more and not recommend to any friends. Do not go there.

GREAT FOOD- The BEST Korean restaurant in Rhode Island.. Its my favorite place to dine....Food is nice and HOT-mildly spicey-tasty-and HEALTHY.... The atmosphere from the outside is "basic" but WHO CARES... Its all about the food that counts. Family run- very pleasant and polite,,,, ALL THE TIME.... GIVE IT A TRY... well worth your time.. believe me.. Hot soup on a cold night..extra side dishes all the time and the prices are very fair. A+.. is my score..

  • Marc A.

Probably among the best Korean food in Providence. Very down-home and literally a mom-and-pop shop where you feel like you are a guest at someone's house. Not much for atmosphere, but the food overwhelmingly trumps any need for this. Try the Bim Bop and the spicy octopus on rice - yum!

  • Ingred S.

Lets be honest-who wants to see Joe, your unshaven neighbor, sweating bullets, preparing your food at a frialator? Not this homegirl! Korean husband and wife team put their hands to the plow as they whip out traditional Korean entrees. You can watch them prepare it all. Tastes like the chicken was plucked this morning! (and yes, that is a compliment.) Staff is humble and sweet. Do your best to pronounce the dish title, but if al else fails overcome the language barrier with a game of charades-Dont be insecure girl- own that pony tail. Work that up-do and Break.that.ice with some jazz hands. Its a gem of a place. So enjoyable. Incredible flavors, and i usually have enough to take home for lunch the next day.

This place is a hidden RI gem! After going once and ordering the BiBimBap, I knew I had to 1. Spread the word about this amazing Korean restaurant with such delicious food, and 2. Come back again the following week to order the BiBimBap. It is SO good! And there are plenty of veg/ pescetarian options if you follow either of those diets. If you're the type of person who refrains from trying special sauces, do yourself a favor and let your reservations go here; you will not be disappointed!! Flavorful with just the right amount of kick so as not to overpower what you're eating. Thankfully they sell it by the bottle so you can put it on everything you eat at home, too!

When I write reviews I like to let people know how I genuinely feel about the experience. Being a restaurant owner and executive chef I tend to be a little critical. Sun and moon is by far one of my favorite eateries in rhody. I love everything about it. My wife and I frequent this cozy little kItchen about once a month. I've had so many different menu items and they are all really good. Stone pots ,kimchi pancakes, stir fry, dumplings, Korean rolls, buckwheat cold noodles. ... just to name a few. I love it all. They also have great Korean wine like bek seju, raspberry and plum. The atmosphere is like eating in a Korean home and that's as cultural as it gets. The bathrooms are clean, service is friendly and the man and women who are married and cook for you is just a true pleasure to endure. Great people! This place is well worth the trip. I recommend going for lunch as they are a really small little place (5 to 6 tables) and it packs in quick. My only dislike is the prices are a little steep (11 for soup pot 18 for a 12oz bottle of wine) but it's so good I don't mind. It's a must try!

Several of us decided to try this Korean restaurant....from the outside, it is kind of plain and basic...once you walk in you realize the place has at least three different dining areas, so it is very spacious. There were eight of us, so we got a small lounge towards the back. I had the bulgogi and it was good....not crispy on the edges like others I have had before, but not bad...they only gave us three little appetizer plates (kimchi, picked cucumber and cabbage with crab meat - this last one was very good....) Some of my other friends got the other dishes including the Korean BBQ (galbi) and they enjoyed their meal....overall OK..

I absolutely love this restaurant! John and mama are the most down to earth owners you will ever meet. Try the steamed vegetable dumplings and ask for the spicy vegetables they serve with the fried dumplings. Great flavor! I love there tofu Kim Chee hot pot. Killer flavor! Have never had a bad meal here. I have been going for years.

My husband and I appreciate supporting small businesses, especially family-owned restaurants. This establishment is a bit off the beaten path, but worth a visit. The food clearly reflects meticulous attention to detail and always tastes healthy and clean. On one occasion, I was craving jjajangmyung (Korean black bean noodles), so I called ahead to Sun & Moon to find that although this entree was not on the menu, the chef was willing to make me it from scratch! When we arrived at the restaurant, we were excited to try the spicy pork and octopus special along with our jjajangmyun. Both tasted great! I thanked the chef/owner for being so sweet and accommodating my craving. My only caveat with the restaurant is that the entrees are quite overpriced for such little portions. Like a previous reviewer noted, it's likely that you may leave hungry.

I'm going to start off with a confession: I don't like Korean food. I've held this belief for a while and was kind of making The Face when we ended up here. Oh, how wrong I was! We arrived with an assortment of tastes: Loves Korean (the husband), No Spicy (the bestie), Skeptical but hungry (me), and Bottomless Pit (toddler). Immediate reaction: the staff was super friendly, welcoming us in. Be warned, it looks very small when you first walk in; there is a second room off the side that has a few more tables. Our waitress came to our table with dishes of fresh pickles, kimchi, and some kind of black beans that the toddler immediately claimed for her own. Our waitress was very helpful in selecting our dishes and making sure that we would all enjoy them. Bestie had bulgolgi, I had jap chae du-bop, and my husband bibimbap. You'd think none of us had ever seen food before, the way we tucked in. Our waitress very kindly brought an extra little dish of black beans after she noticed my daughter had gone through all of them. There were no leftovers, sadly. We opted to split two fried ice creams (mango-style) with fresh fruit. When they came out, we realized they'd put chocolate syrup on both. Bestie is allergic and we'd forgotten to ask about it-totally our fault. Our waitress was sweet enough to grab the owner (presumably) who promised to remake it so she could enjoy too. They've definitely won a repeat customer and converted me to a fan of Korean food (at least if it's theirs.)

I just moved back to Providence after three years in LA, and one of the first restaurants I went to when I returned was Sun and Moon! I used to love this place. So how is it three years later? Well, the food is still pretty good, but man oh man has this place gotten expensive. $15 for bibimbap?? $12 for pajeon? $7 for kimbap? Seriously?? Even fancy restaurants in K-Town don't charge that much. Also: despite the higher prices, the owners haven't invested any money into upgrading the look/ambiance of the place. Still looks kind of run down. I will still be back, but mostly because the options for decent Korean food around Providence are severely limited.

Wow Sun and Moon has changed alot since I last ate there -which may have well been almost 7-8ish years ago. I had gone with my mom. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about. This last visit was quite exciting. They'd expanded the dining area, and their menu. They offer a range of Korean and Japanese dishes and the ban-chan was fresh. I'd love to come back. :D

This place is cute and conveniently located by the highway...walking in it looks like a small take out joint but then we were led to the back where there is a quaint dining area. We were given samples of kimchi, sprouts, and sweet cucumbers to wet our palettes. I for the first time had some soju..and it was STRONG going down but my favorite drink was called Bokbu ja ju...that was a dark wine that had what I would describe as a nice aftertaste of grapes rather than alcohol. We started with the Korean pancakes with kimchi....OMO! OMO! Excellent! I will be going back for that next time but not often its like 10 bucks and up depending on what you get on it. My friend and I shared some Bibimbap with spicy pork that was also very good full of flavor. I guess im new to the Korean cuisines but the dishes that were over 10 bucks I was expecting bigger portions *shrugs* maybe I'm paying for authenticity who knows...but overall I enjoyed myself and plan on going again.

Dumpy little corner korean/japanese place. I say that fairly affectionately but be warned, there are stains on the drop ceiling and duct tape on the walls. They have a tiny sushi bar-style counter in the front and a tiny dining room in the back. The staff is super friendly and the bulgoki beef was refreshingly NOT sodium death. They also add some veggies to their bulgoki which is atypical. They brought the banchan with my entree rather than before but as long as therez kimchi on the table its all good. No muchae or fish cake though. Overall though, "meh, I've experienced better" sums it up.

I don't have a comparison against Sun & Moon as I've never eaten Korean food other than here. The prices are fair and the portions are just right. It's a small hole in the wall place, you'd probably drive by and not even notice. There is a diner style feel when you first walk in with stools at a counter and the kitchen directly behind it and as you walk to the rear of the restaurant there are a handful of tables and another few tables in a "mirror" room in the back. This place was definitely a house/apartment turned restaurant. The waitstaff are pleasant, the atmosphere is comforting and the food is delicious. My favorite dish is the BiBimBap - it is TO DIE FOR - sizzling fresh ingredients (rice, veggies, over easy egg, etc.) served in a hot ceramic bowl; when it's placed in front of you it screams "eat me ASAP." Also, BYOB on certain nights of the week; I believe Sunday - Wednesday.

I have to say, Sun and Moon is one of those tiny places that is easy to drive right by without even knowing it's there! The restaurant front is small and not particularly eye-catching. We blasted right by it in our car before we realized it was there, and had to do a quick turnaround in order to get to the spot! Like I said, we were greeted by a very friendly staff and pretty empty restaurant. They gave us a four seat table for the two of us, which I thought was a nice gesture since seating in general is limited and there were plenty of two person tables available. We should not have been fooled by the lack of diners at 7:15, because by 8, the place was full! The menu cover made me giggle a bit- I thought it was funny how the restaurant is only BYOB on Tuesday and Wednesdays, but doesn't allow it on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights! I got another chuckle out of their drink descriptions. I love how they described the Cheong Hwa as "served at a chilled status." It is a much more elegant way than saying it's served cold. I also appreciated how the health benefits of some of their drinks were listed- for example, the Bokbunja Ju helps enhance stamina for men and cure disease in women. . . After we delighted in the menu descriptions, we ordered drinks! Green tea for the win! One of my favorite elements of the Korean restaurant dining experience is the pickled veggies that come as a starter. Fermented veggies are great for digestion, so I was eager to dig in! The kimchee, sweet vinegary cucumbers and bean sprouts were all wonderful, We asked for seconds. . . and thirds! For our true appetizer, we had some edamame. Love that as a vegetarian protein option! For dinner, I ordered the BiBimBap, served in a burning hot stone pot. The menu describes this dish as "cooked six kinds of vegetable over rice with side Home-made spicy sauce (carrot, zucchini, white radish, bean sprout, fern, and spinach)." I selected the tofu option, and also made the special request of leaving off egg, since I read on Yelp reviews that this dish does come with egg served on top, despite the fact the menu doesn't mention it. I also asked for brown instead of white rice, which they easily accommodated. When it came out, I literally squealed in delight! Look how pretty it is! And healthful looking too! The spicy chili sauce came in a squirt bottle on the side. I added a generous layer of this delicious sweet and spicy sauce on top of my BiBimBap before I mixed it all together! Let me tell you, this dish was hands down one of the best meals I have ever ordered at an Asian restaurant. It was simple, tasty and fresh. I could just tell I was eating something good for me, but the best part about it was my taste buds were beyond overjoyed. Delicious without the sweet chili sauce, the bowl of goodness was taken over the top when I mixed in the homemade sauce. I ate almost all of it, and let my husband polish off the rest. The combination of green tea, pickled veggies, edamame and a steaming bowl of vegan BiBimBap resulted in the perfect meal when considering tastes and textures. I left the table content- the food was filling, yet light, and so flavorful. Sun and Moon is one of those "hidden gem" kind of places that people in the know take their friends to impress them with delicious food in an unassuming atmosphere. I declared to my husband that Sun and Moon must become a part of our once a month dining rotation- it's that good!

Sun & Moon is a lovely, cozy small restaurant in East Providence Rhode Island just off of Route 195. Nestled in an ethnic neighborhood and across the street from an Asian market, its location is prime for its purpose: real Korean food from real Koreans. As you step in, the furniture and decor seems odd and archaically charming, transporting you down home into the suburbs of Seoul. While not terribly large, the small environment and open kitchen allow the diner to view the friendly husband and wife duo that own and run the place as they create your delicious treat before your very eyes. You see them take out Kimchi, slice fragrant herbs, and hear the sizzle as the fresh food is hand made to order: no reheating here! For larger parties or families with children there is a larger room in the back that allows you to stretch out or romp. The menu of Korean food is as vast as it is interesting, something unusual for the usual Rhode Island monotony of reheated, 2nd class Italian food or Chinese. You'll find all sorts of goodies here from hearty rice Bibimbap that cooks before your very eyes to steaming Soondubu jjigae. Don't miss the delicate Haemul Pajeon (Seafood Pancake) either. This place is not cheap, but it's not meant to be; it cannot be. There is a floor below which foods cannot be made to order with premium ingredients the way you'll find food to be cooked here at Sun & Moon. If you're judicious in your portion control and don't order liquor, even a student on a tight budget say from Brown or RISD in Providence might be able to afford the Korean take out that is offered here. Alcohol is of course present and you can find all kinds of authentic Korean brews such as soju, bek se ju or the Ob beer of which the restaurant's Korean owner is very proud as "my country's beer". The only drawback to this restaurant is that it lacks the physical plant for the true Korean barbecue/BBQ, but it makes up for it in other ways. For example, their take out is also excellent, also made to order, and tastes really good and fresh even hours afterwards without reheating. There are other Korean places in Rhode Island, but none offers the combination of friendly service, convenient take out, depth of variety, and sheer quality of its ingredients. This is truly hand crafted, high quality Korean food in a place that beams you into the heart of Seoul. I highly recommend this place without reservation to foodies, students in Providence seeking takeout, professionals looking for something different at lunchtime, or just a refreshingly different , exotic dining experience. Some of us can go to Korea frequently. Others have been. To the rest of us, there is Sun & Moon, a restaurant I recommend as Rhode Island's foremost Korean food.

Great place for Korean food. This small looking restaurant is actually larger than it looks and has great food if you are a Korean fan. I have been looking for this place for a long time and finally found it. We had spicy pork and Korean pancakes. All very good and well prepared. Appetizers were typical. Their kimchi is not very spicy though but they will bring you a giant bottle of hot kimchi sauce if you ask so you can spice it up. I really recommend you try it. It is out of the way in a residential area so there is very little parking (street only) but it wasn't a problem. There is a market across the street that has kamaboko as well so I will be shopping there regular.

From the outside, it's very unassuming and plain - one would not know of it's existence except for the small sign. We were unsure of it except for the mostly good reviews we read on yelp and a recent article in Edible Rhody. The smell of feel good food hit our noses as we walked through the door on this cold night, and we were promptly seated by the very polite staff. Pickled radish, cucumber and kim chi were brought to our table and our drink orders were taken, while we were mulling what to order for food. There were many offerings for appetizers ranging from steamed/fried dumplings to Korean sausage, and for mains, several dishes that were mixed, fried rice, and soups and stews. Having our still-sleeping little one with us (4 mos old), we didn't want to take too long, so after a chat with our server (very helpful), we ordered the steamed vegetable dumplings, and one each of a beef and spicy pork Bibimbop. The dumplings - we got 10 for $8, and they were awesome. There was a savory aspect to them that I couldn't figure out, but I noted that I needed to order this next time as well. The Bibimbop - a traditional Korean dish of various vegetables, cut neatly and arranged on top of rice, in a hot stone bowl, arrived. Liz's had beef and mine had spicy pork, each topped with an over medium egg. What's nice about the hot stone bowl, was that it made the rice crispy on the bottom, and after mixing everything around, everything remained hot. Both were delicious, and we have found a new establishment to drop in on. As someone else (Corky K) mentioned earlier, this is not your typical cheap Asian hole in the wall, but delicious Korean food at moderate prices. You get what you pay for, and it's worth it - we will be back!

After reading the plethora of great reviews for Sun and Moon, we decided to give it a try last night for takeout. We ordered the beef bulgogi and the sweet potato noodles with beef. We arrived to the restaurant and it was just as everyone described, a hole-in-the-wall establishment with Mom & Pop cooking and the kids serving. The family is very friendly, they all said hello to us as we picked up the food. The food on the other hand was just alright, nothing special, and for the price we paid we expected a higher quality meal. Not a bad meal, just pricey.

Sun and Moon is a special place to take your tastebuds on a journey. Not much from the exterior, but the restaurant is nice - clean and simple, some bursts of color in the traditional artwork hanging in the back room. Service is well-intentioned but miscommunications can be common. I've been been denied a drink for lack of an ID at 30 years old. Still, none of this deters me from returning for the great food. I just can't help it. I order slight variations of the same thing every time. For one, the dumplings are INCREDIBLE. I'm a sucker for fried dumplings, but you've got to get them steamed here to experience the full savory flavor. And the bibimbap! I'd order it just for the fun anticipation of mixing up the rice, veggies, meat/tofu, egg on top, squirt of hot sauce, listening to the egg bits sizzle and pop as they cook in the hot stone bowl. But luckily I get to eat it, too. Delicious bulgogi here, too - marinated beef, flavorful and sweet, with veggies and rice. On my last visit they were offering up a special of bulgogi in the bibimpap - yum! Sun and Moon has a beer and wine list, but you can BYO when dining Mondays and Tuesdays. They serve Korean beer and other Korean drinks; my favorite is the mae sil ju green plum liquor (though the menu reads "apricot wine") - it's got this sweet, tart and tangy distinct flavor, but not overpoweringly sweet. I seem to have a verbal tic with the word "flavor" in this review - well, that's what you get here!

Sun and Moon is, quite literally, a mom and pop operation. The open kitchen is behind the bar up front, and it used to be just a tiny hole in the wall. They've been slowly expanding to fill the rest of the building with table seating, and yesterday there were people dining someplace that I couldn't see them directly. They're big time! I always sit at the bar so I can watch mom cook and chat with the rest of the family. The man in charge insists on calling me "Jason," rather than my real name - but whatever. He sees a lot of people. The food is stone cold, absolutely authentic. If you say "home style spicy," you should be prepared for an experience. This was a total shocker for Riverside, which can be a bit of a whitebread suburb. The Bibimbop is perfect, the Dukbokgi is hot as hell, and the Soon Tofu is the perfect balm for a cold fall day. Sun and moon is the real deal.

It was ok.. I got the bibimbap that everyone was raving about, but it had no flavor. I added a bunch of hot sauce and some dumpling sauce because it definitely lacked acidity. We had to keep asking for drinks, the waitress kept forgetting to bring them and they weren't very busy. The meal also would have been better had the price reflected the food, at that price you can go somewhere better. But it WAS a nice change of pace if you want something different, my husband's Korean BBQ was excellent. He left still hungry though, it should come with some vegetables or something.

Didn't even know this place existed, but its just off the highway in East Providence, and man is it a treat. This is NOT your typical cheap asian hole in the wall, its delicious Korean food at moderate prices in a comfortable setting. My experience with Korean food is pretty much limited to Kimchi, but I was so pleased with the food here. The steamed vegetable dumplings were the best dumplings I've had in Providence (better than Lucky Garden and Phoenix Dragon). $9 gets you like 12 dumplings? One of their specials on a hand written sign caught my eye immediately: squid and pork belly with chili sauce. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. It was unique slightly sweet and spicy and was served on a hot plate. I could have easily only eaten half of it, but it was so good that I couldn't put it down. The only thing that was disappointing was the price tag- my entree alone was $20. That said, I think it was worth it. My girlfriend had a beef and glass noodle dish, which was served with veggies over rice. Though the beef was flavorful I wasn't wowed by it. With many more things to try including Bibimbop, I'll definitely be returning soon.

Hole in the wall? Yes. So what, very nice and inviting inside. Family run, open kitchen with awesome food. 100% authentic? I dont know im not from k town, but I do know the owners are korean and cook all the food. And like I said the food is great. Do they use western veggies in their cooking? I guess, well you know we are in america after all. I think there is nothing wrong with growing with your food, trying to change it up a bit. Why not.. If you want completly authentic maybe this is not for you. Like I said I never lived in"k town" but it is korean food and its great. Service can be a little slow, thats my only bad thing to say. But that doent bother me here cause they are so nice...

Best Korean I've found in Providence. Sun & Moon is a family business, and it shows in the way they treat you. Every time I come in, the owner says hello like he's known me for years. The food is quick and very well made, with most of it served still-sizzling in hot pots, and there are complimentary nibbly bits (usually kimchi, pickled daikon, and a vinegar salady thing) while you wait. I've yet to have a bad dinner there, no matter what I order, but I particularly recommend the yuk gae jang, especially if you like spice.

We went there yesterday and it was good to get some good Korean food in America. We ate (kim chi soon tofu) and (mul buckwheat cold noodles), and they were the closest we've had to eating them in Seoul yet. We finished with seafood Korean pancake/pizza on the appetizer menu. The soup came out in a stone bowl and the side dishes were tasty as well. It was decently priced and overall a great experience.

we have eaten here a lot, and have tried most of the menu. we really enjoy our visits. the korean pancake, the dukguk soup, the spicy rice cakes, the jap chae noodles, the steamed veggie dumplings, and the bibimbap are our favorites. it's great that they offer brown rice as well. great family run business.

I went her for lunch and had the following, Tuna Korean Seaweed Roll and Chicken Bibimbap. In the roll, I was expecting fresh tuna, but it was canned tuna...who the eff puts canned tuna in a roll. I have had this before at other korean restaurants and it is fresh tuna, so @ 8 bucks for the roll, was not worth it. The menu also does not specify canned tuna, I would not have gotten it if I had known about canned tuna. The bibimbap was OK, bland though, needed a lot of salt. I do not plan on returning, the canned tuna was enough for me. Bill was around $25, definitely not worth the value.

OK, so maybe I'm spoiled from living in K-town in Chicago for all those years, but I thought the food here was awful. First of all, the owners seem not at all interested in authenticity, instead picking out as many exotic Western vegetables to throw in, seemingly at random. You know, maybe if they got the basics down, I'd give them points for creative reinvention, but they can't even manage that. They only brought us 3 little dishes of ponchon. No mackerel cakes anywhere to be found. The pickled chayote was tasty, though not really that different from the way this dish is usually made (with cucumbers). The vegetable pancake that we ordered was made with sun-dried tomatoes, the strong flavor of which totally overpowered the overly-eggy batter. Also, the pancake was so overloaded with vegetables that the batter couldn't hold it together, and it fell apart when we tried to pick up pieces with our chopsticks. It was also loaded with overly-thick slices of potato that didn't cook adequately (potato in Korean pancakes should be sliced very thinly). Even my two-year-old wouldn't eat it, and he usually loves Korean pancakes. My husband's dolsot bibimbop had very few vegetables in it, and even fewer of the ones that I'm used to seeing (bean sprouts, seaweed, spinach). It did have fiddlehead ferns in it, oddly enough. My vegetarian jap chae was probably the best of the bunch, being merely not-objectionable, but the portion was small and the dish expensive. Our friend ordered the bul go gi and didn't like it either, and also complained that his portion was too small. I'm never going back. I'll try Sura in Johnston next.

While it should be noted that I know next to nothing about Korean food, I do know something about dumplings, and that is that there is a dearth of good dumplings in the providence area. Sun and Moon is where I go when I'm craving good dumplings of either the fried or steamed kind. Bibimbop is apparently what you're supposed to try for korean, and its tasty here, though I cannot speak for authenticity. The potato noodles dish in the appetizers is usually far too much food for the whole table, but has a taste and texture I really dig, and try to share with anyone I bring there (and I make an effort to bring new people there fairly regularly) I've always had a pleasant experience with the staff, though I find it difficult to communicate with them sometimes, I'm not sure they all speak english fluently, but they are eager to make you happy and share good food and tastes with you. We tried their rice drink on a lark, and they brought it out for us, gratis, because they knew we were experimenting and wanted to encourage that. I did like the rice drink, by the way, it tastes to me very much like a korean version of an horchata. This is a great place to try for an adventurous night out, or a standby once you've tried it, but due to the sad fact that most people in the area don't know korean food well I'd say that this restaurant should be tried with an adventurous spirit.

First, I'll get the bad out of the way: unlike Korean restaurants in other parts of the country where you're inundated by numerous little dishes of kimchi and assorted pickles, here you only get three. Ok, so that's the only bad thing I can say about this place! I am systematically making my way through the entrees on the menu, and am thoroughly enjoying it. I have a hopeless addiction to their stone pot bi bim bap, but nearly everything else I've had has been delicious. (I wasn't a big fan of the fried pork dish, but that's only because I'm not a big pork fan. Their preparation was fine.) Their fried dumpling appetizer is perfectly done, and great for sharing. The service is so polite and wonderful. Any time I have visitors from out of town, I bring them here. BTW, if you haven't been here since they expanded, it's worth another visit! BYOB is odd: at last check, it was only students and seniors who could BYOB, and then only on certain nights. Their drink selections include really tasty Korean wines that are worth a try!

I'd been curious to try this restaurant after hearing rumors about it - including those from the Providence Journal and Gourmet Magazine - so I popped in on a Friday night when I happened to be in the area. It's a small, cute restaurant with a few tables and a bar from which you can watch the magic (this is, the cooking) take place. The menu has a variety of dishes, listed in both Korean and English. I had spicy cold potato noodles with vegetables - almost like a giant salad - and it was delicious. My waitress was very friendly, the other diners were having fun, and despite dining alone, I had a great time. The restaurant has a few Korean alcoholic beverages, but I believe it is also BYOB. If you're looking for more information, you might want to check out this 2004 review from the Providence Journal: tasteri.com/projo/review… Also, you can do some shopping at the Asian market across the street.

This place is definitely a hole-in the-wall, but in a good way. The food here is fantastic and you can tell it's authentic just by the staff. My first try here was with my Korean friends from college. A good way to judge if any Asian restaurant is good, is to see if there are any actual Asian customers. If there are, you know you done good :)

My husband and I were EXTREMELY impressed with Sun and Moon! We went tonight (Saturday night) around 6:30PM. The place was packed-there was actually a line the entire time we were there. We got really lucky and got two seats at the counter-best place in the house. It is totally a family run business. Mom and Dad cook and the teenage/college age kids take care of you. The food is so flavorful and yummy, the Korean wine is refreshing, and the service is some of the best that we have experienced anywhere. We highly recommend Sun and Moon. If you love Asian, you must give it a try. We will return often.

I am not korean but I love korean food.(maybe because I love meat...). In any case, in my opinion, this place is a classic. Yes Amanda P they do not serve much pan chan, and yes the atmosphere is very different from any korean restaurant that I have been to except for one in Paris that was very similar: Sun & Moon and Darai 4bis, rue Violet in Paris' 7th Arrondissement are both excellent restaurants that happen to serve Korean food. Both were "Mom & Pop" places that added "personality" to their dishes. They do not provide "standard fare" like you get in K-town in Manhattan or scattered K-places in Queens, Philadelphia, etc.(and believe me I love this stuff too). The cook at Sun & Moon is as creative as you would expect from a fancy, upscale $100 per plate restaurant in Manhattan -- in his own way. But don't go expecting the $100 per plate presentation, atmosphere, or the prices -- just the food. This place is like eating on the kitchen table in a very modest home, a home of an excellent chef. There is absolutely no decor, the place is very small, but the food is as good as I have ever had in any type of restaurant. "Pop" is an excellent cook, and his daughter a gracious hostess. I am telling you, . As long as "Pop" is cooking, I heartily recommend Sun & Moon. If you like Korean food and you want to explore, or if you are just willing to explore, this is the place for you.

Absolutely delicious! Went to Sun and Moon on a recommendation from a friend. We had not ever had Korean Food before. We ordered the Seafood Korean Pancake for an appetizer, and for our dinners, Korean Barbecue and the Beef Bi-Bim-Bob, Loved it! Its not a fancy place, but we went on Mothers Day in the afternoon, it wasn't busy, just quiet and peaceful. The service was great also. Will definitely Be one of our regular places to go.

this may be the best korean food providence has to offer, but that doesn't make it good. unfortunately, the dishes we tried were like something that someone with no cooking experience would make by reading a recipe he got from the internet. the place was not very comforting either (decoration was meager, did not feel very cozy) so i would definitely recommend taking out as opposed to eating there... that is, if you really must go. In conclusion, i would rather drive 3 hours to go to NY and get the real deal than ever have to come back here. on the upside, the staff was friendly...

This is the best Korea food in all of Providence. My wife and I live in town and occasionally have lunch at Sun and Moon a couple of times a year. We split the steamed dumplings and the Tofu Bimbambam (not sure about the spelling) which is plenty for two. One day a couple of years we had given the owner our business card, ever since we receive a card for Christmas.

After only 1 visit to this modest little restaurant I can initially say the food is excellent. What also really made my dinner better was the staff and their genuinely friendly personalities. I always appreciate a family run business but this place even has the eldest cooking the meals. It doesn't get much better then that in my book. I definitely plan on a revisit soon to enjoy more of the menu. Highly recommended for the food.

This restaurant was smaller and more cramped than I was expecting, but nice enough inside. I didn't notice any parking either, but luckily found a spot right out front. I ordered the BiBimBap with chicken and when the waiter brought it out to me he asked if I knew how to eat it, and well, I didn't... Apparently this dish comes out still cooking in this burning hot...cauldron. You have to mix it all up well right before you eat, which he did for me. It was pretty good. And I THINK the Korean liquor I drank was Bohae Bokbunjajoo Black Raspberry Wine and it was fantastic. This place is a bit pricey though.

To put it simply Sun and moon is a little dive restaurant on the edge of east providence right before entering Providence and it's amazing. I had never had authentic Korean food before and I'm actually sort of upset I just found out about it now because I wish I had been eating it my whole life. Sun and Moon is so small you could easily drive right past it if you weren't looking for it and the sign isn't big at all. When you first ever Sun and Moon it almost looks as if you walked into a tiny breakfast diner with two small table and a long bar for searing right in front of the kitchen. Now from the looks of it this area is generally used for people waiting for pick up and I can see why. When you enter into the dining area it is a small quaint set up that looks as if they turned a college townhouse into a dining room. There are about five tables that couldn't fit more than four people (so this place is not great for groups), but is perfect for a date night. The room is filled with Korean decor and great scents coming from the kitchen. Now of course I had no idea what to order so my girlfriend took the reigns because she's been before. We ordered the Vegetable Dunplings, the BulGogi (black angus prime), and the BiBimBap with BulGogi. They provided pickles, pickled celery, and Kimchi. Now I'm not sure if that was free or if these three things came with the vegetable dumplings, but every table had them. Anyway the vegetable dumplings were unreal. I still couldn't believe it was only vegetables in them, and they were steamed not fried making for a very healthy dish. The dumplings were served with a sesame soy sauce I believe, and that just added to the flavor. Also when you add the Kimchi to the dumpling it adds how I like to put it a refreshingly spicy taste. The BulGogi was served over white rice and vegetables and that was amazing. For the first time trying it I was blown away. The BiBomBap was served in a very hot stone bowl (do not touch it!) I made that mistake more than once (I'm still an amateur when it comes to chop sticks). They serve it with a cooked egg on top and I wasn't sure what to do at that point. So my girlfriend pointed out that I was supposed to mix it all up. The BiBomBap had six different vegetables including carrots, zucchini, white radish, bean sprout, fern, and spinach. I also got BulGogi in it and it's also served with white rice. I would recommend eating this at a good pace or taking some out of the bowl because it continues to cook the entire time and the rice begins to get crunchy. All in all the food, service, and overall experience at Sun and Moon was fantastic and I can't wait to come back again!!

Have been to Sun & Moon twice, dined in once and then did take out. Dining in was the better experience; good service, quaint atmosphere, and good quality food. Our take out experience seemed mediocre in comparison. We ordered the Korean BBQ beef and for $21 got about 3oz of edible meat. It seems grossly over priced for tiny portions (both dining in and take out), though the food tastes good. Overall, Sun & Moon is a quality Korean restaurant but don't expect to get much bang for your buck.

Less-than-desirable neighborhood, but worth the trek for the great food and warm hosts. If you are thinking Korean food, look no further. We sampled the Bi Bim Bop, Bulgogi, Korean style BBQ ribs, and fried dumplings on our first visit today and I was very pleased as was my family. B.B.B. comes in a traditional stone bowl and the beef Bulgogi was excellent, though I'm used to a thicker sauce. The Korean style ribs were decent, but definitely overpriced at $20. Table is garnished with Kim Chi, pickled cucumbers, hot pepper sauce and a celery seafood salad.

Yummy beebimbop, and rice cakes. Also good, Korean bbq (kalbi), spicy tofu soup (soondubu). Would be 5 star if they had grill at your table meats, and bigger selection of small dishes. Does not look like much from the street, but this husband and wife team cooks up great essential Korean basics.

Food was good, I like the bibimbap and I had also had a noodle soup, the bibimbap was better. Service was fine and staff was friendly enough. Going to have to go back to try more. Fair suggestions from the servers and was actually busier than I thought it would be on a weekday night which was cool.

The Bibimbop was especially great. I went with a group of people and we shared several different dishes, none of which disappointed. I've been meaning to return.
